Job Summary :
The Senior Finance Officer assists in preparing financial statements, reports, and analysis to support management decisions. They help with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and accounts payable/receivable processes. The role includes supporting financial analysis, ensuring compliance with regulations, and participating in process improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis to support management decision-making.
- Support the finance manager in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather financial data, ensure accuracy, and facilitate timely reporting.
- Assist in managing cash flow, close involvement in accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
- Support financial analysis and modeling to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Support external audits, tax filings, and other financial compliance activities.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to improve financial processes, systems, and efficiencies.
- Supervise, guide and junior finance team members, as and when needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or Finance.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in audit field and/or in finance or accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, financial regulations and applicable tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
